Junior Musical Theatre - 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Musical theatre combines the three disciplines; singing, dancing and acting for a feel good, upbeat and energetic class. With 20 minutes dedicated to each discipline pupils will take on songs from all the best loved musicals whilst being able to apply their acting and dancing skills which really allows them to showcase an array of their talents. A great class to build confidence and self-belief and work on those performance skills.

Our tap classes are a great way for pupils to get to grips with a real intricate style of dance. Classes encompass learning different rhythms, stylised floor work and technical corner work.

An absolute must for any dancer looking to support their existing talents with a strong technical skill set. Ballet is the core of all dance and we encourage all dancers to take this class to strengthen technique and gain fundamental skills need for growth.

A firm favourite with our existing pupils & popular because of it’s energetic and stylised nature. Encompassing combinations in floor work and corner work, pupils will also work on strength, flexibility and stamina in this exciting class.

Our hip hop classes are another favourite within our school because of its need for attitude, personality and energy. It’s a great class for kids to really let go, have fun and enjoy a style that isn’t as focused around lots of technical elements.

Another of our new classes for this years timetable. This class will be focused on advanced lyrical technique and performance. This will be a chance for our senior dancers to work on their dance ability as well as their creativity. They will have the chance to work as a team but also the opportunity to explore working in duets and as soloists. We will be focusing on building dancers confidence and teaching them how to create choreography, allowing them to build skills and create their own routines. These routines, teams, trios, duests and solos will then have the chance to be featured in our annual show. Yes, it is a lyrical class, but there is opportunity to learn so much more about the world of dance, performing, choreographing and growing creatively and in self confidence.
